Sailboat Moving Day

This is a strange story, it is real, not fiction, about a day we moved our sailboat from home to it's summer mooring at Oconto on Green Bay... If you are not a believer, stop reading now. Continuing on. will only frustrate you and make you angry. If you are a believer, OK, keep reading.
This story started out early in the day in early spring. We weoat Moving Dayre pulling our 20 foot sailboat to Oconto, where we had rented a boat slip for the summer. Our little pickup truck chugged along pulling the sailboat effortlessly. Until!!! Just outside Wittenberg, going up the overpass, the truck faltered and lost power. The truck barely made it over the overpass. There was a service station with a small store that also sold bait at the bottom of the grade. It was a typical station on a highway outside a small rural town. Our truck managed to pull us and the sailboat into the parking lot. Just our luck, it was closed being on a Sunday. But there was a phone booth at the edge of the parking lot.
Now what? Our son and his girlfriend were in Wittenberg to celebrate a friend of his girlfriend's daughter's confirmation. We had no idea what her name was or the street her house was on, or where our son and his girlfriend where at. We had the phone number of his girlfriend. Hopefully her roommate was home. Luck, we prefer to use providence instead, was on our side. Hooray! She gave us the phone number of the woman where our son and girlfriend were visiting. We hurried over to the phone booth, dropped the coins in the slot and dialed the number. A young girl answered the phone. I told her I wanted to speak to my son or his girlfriend. The girl said, "there isn’t anyone by that name here", and hung up the phone on me. With my mouth hanging open, I turned speechless to my wife. I said, “now what do we do”? Back to square one. We walked back to the truck, both in deep thought. In the truck we looked at each other. While we were discussing what our options were, an old beat up black pickup truck, out of nowhere, pulled up in front of the station. A young unkempt fella wearing a short scruffy beard, carrying a minnow bucket stepped out of the truck. When he saw the closed sign on the station door he turned and walked toward where we were parked. I sensed that he had a question on his mind he wanted to ask me. I told him about our truck failing. He suggested a mechanic he knew a little way down highway 45. He doubted that the mechanic could help us, and was probably closed today. I told him that our son and girlfriend were in Wittenberg, including the details of their visit. This is where the story turns wierd. He offered to take me to the house where they were at. Getting into the pickup with him, I had to straddle the minnow bucket and push aside what looked like a dirty old blanket and some rags.
He pulled up to the house and there was my son’s car in the driveway. The house appeared to be an average sized newer house located on the outskirts of town. The road was visible for a long way because the area was sparsely populated with houses and trees. Going up to the house waiting for someone to come to the door, I glanced towards the road. Why couldn’t I see the truck? It just disappeared! Just then someone answered the door. My son and his girlfriend were astonished to see me in the doorway. Telling them how I got there. The person that answered the door said they never saw a truck.
A man at the party owned a auto parts store and had a tow truck. He offered to help, and towed our truck and sailboat to his place of business. Eventually the sailboat got to Oconto another day.
Questions:
If the fella in the pickup was a local, why didn't he know the station was closed?

He knew about a mechanic on highway 45.

Why or how did he come out of nowhere and disappear in the same manner without anyone seeing him except myself and my wife.

Now for the big unanswered question. How did he know where our son and girlfriend were visiting?

How did he know the auto parts store owner would be there?

Who knew the answers for all these questions? GOD!

The BIBLE has many references to angels most notably, Hebrews:13,2, (…some have entertained angels without knowing it.) and many people have written about encounters with angels.

Was the young man with the scruffy beard an angel? What do you think???
